1858 Remington Conversion
This versatile
firearm provides for an easy transition from black powder to centerfire
cartridges. The gun’s original frames were dovetailed to allow the
ejector assembly to slide into place. A loading lever screw, passing
through from the left side of the frame, secures the ejector assembly. A
small notch cut into the loading lever creates a rest for the L-shaped
tip of the ejector rod. The fi rearm is steel with steel backstrap and
brass trigger guard.
